911 Availability.
We take pride in the measures we have taken to provide and support 911 service. We validate your address for 911 availability prior to any order placement and also offer tools to let you easily update your own 911 address if it changes. 911 service for any VoIP provider is slightly different than traditional service and it is subject to potential availability disruptions due to power failure or loss of internet connectivity. Voice Mail — Receive your messages in your email.
Voice mail messages can be retrieved by dialing *98 from your phone or through your email. By choosing email, each voice mail message will be sent as a .WAV attachment to an email account of your choosing. You can listen to your messages as often as you wish or send them to your friends. You are also able to customize the number of rings it will take for your voice mail to pick up.
Advanced Call Forwarding — Never miss an important call.
This so much more than your traditional call forwarding! You can forward calls by time of day, day of the week, caller type and caller number. Choose to simultaneously ring multiple phones or locate you at multiple locations in sequence. You can now provide your friends and family with a single number where you can be reached — regardless of where you are.
Call Screening — Protect your time and privacy.
Enjoy freedom from unwanted callers while still receiving the calls you want. Screened callers will be sent directly to your voice mail. Activate Call Screening by call type or number.
Caller ID — See who is calling before you answer.
Caller ID lets you see the number of the person calling you before you answer the phone. This service requires a compatible display phone.
Caller ID Block — Prevent your name from being displayed when you make a call.
Block your outgoing caller ID with *67.
Visual Call Waiting — See who's calling when you're on the phone.
Get all the benefits of Caller ID and Call Waiting combined. Visual Call Waiting shows the caller’s number — even if you’re on the phone. This service requires a compatible display phone.
3-Way Calling — Add a third party to a call.
Create a party; add a third person to a call. Talk to your mom and your sister at the same time.
Do Not Disturb — Schedule your time away from the phone.
Prevent calls from disturbing you. Do Not Disturb allows you set a specific time or create a schedule where all incoming calls are automatically sent to voicemail. By enabling Do Not Disturb, you prevent callers from interrupting you during your scheduled time. By setting up Do Not Disturb, you will still be able to make phone calls or listen to voicemail. Activate the “Do Not Disturb” feature for a one time activation or choose to schedule “Do Not Disturb” on a recurring schedule.
Call Blocking — Block certain types of outgoing calls.
Prevent any calls to numbers outside of North America. You can prevent any outgoing calls to numbers outside of North America from your Clearwire Internet Phone Service by choosing to activate the International Call Block feature.
Optional Features
Secondary Numbers — Set up additional phone numbers.
Add up to 16 phone numbers to your phone line. Select phone numbers from any Clearwire market for friends and family to call you locally. The numbers will ring your primary phone, but they can have area codes outside your local calling area. Great for people who normally call you long distance. The monthly rate for a Clearwire secondary number is only $9.99.
Keep Your Number — Transfer your current number to Clearwire.
Transfer your current number to Clearwire. Available in select Clearwire markets. You may begin this process at the time of sale or at anytime thereafter from your My Account page. Transferring your phone number to Clearwire should complete within 10 days; in some cases, it may take up to 30 days. During the transfer process, we will provide a temporary number. You can begin using all of the features of your phone service immediately. You can track the progress of your request anytime from your My Account page.
Clearwire Internet Phone Service 911 is different than traditional 911. Availability may be delayed or disrupted by power failures, unavailability of broadband connections or delays in moving or establishing your phone number or address.
